Intro to "License to Kill"

“Military-industrial complex” means little to many and a lot to those who know the term. But the importance of this subject has been under minded by the public eye ever since Eisenhower gave a formal warning on this topic in his farewell address. This blog expands on Eisenhower’s outcry against a military-industrial complex and how it has changed the road which America has taken in recent years. The title of this blog refers to some private military contracting companies who literally have a license to kill (private contractors in Iraq and Afghanistan). License to Kill provides non-partisan opinions based on information gathered from any sort of news, documentaries, books, and other internet sites/blogs. It is important to not affiliate this subject with any political party for the repercussions of establishing military-industrial complex reaches all forms of politics and culture. The “grave implications” of this military machine has fueled hate towards the United States of America and has also implicated imperial actions by the US. If we do not talk about this seriously damaging practice, the public will continue be misinformed. As Eisenhower was heard once saying, “God help this country when somebody sits at this desk who doesn’t know as much about the military as I do.” The only question now, is God going to help?
